Boxspring is a bed system consisting of 3 parts: the spruce box, the mattress, and an optional topper. In contrast to a "normal" platform bed, the substructure of the box has built-in springs instead of the slatted frame, providing new levels of comfort.
In the case of our Deluxe Hotel Set which consists of a bed base with bonell springs inside, coupled with 7 comfort zones of pocket springs in the Next Gen mattress, you can experience outstanding pressure relief and exceptional support in every sleeping position all night long.
Compared to conventional sleep systems, box springs are slightly softer due to their construction. As a result, they offer better pressure relief, but you can’t adjust their sturdiness.
As our Emma Next Gen Mattress that comes with our box spring bed has the hardness of 7-8 (1 being the hardest, 10 being the softest), you will be provided with the best medium firmness support. You are also able to add on the topper to add the extra 6cm of comfort and adjust the sturdiness of your box spring
